Spawned from the legacy and American heritage of activism and social justice work, the IDR and The Freedom Tree at IDR addresses the issue of race, and the intersecting issues of poverty, health care, housing, education, and hunger that beckons the call for personal and community transformation in an authentic and lasting way.

 

 

The IDR offers workshops, monthly community caucusing, anti-racism introductions and team capacity-building training events and interventions that educate, enlighten, and move participants to question their individual and institutional socialization. Moreover, we invite participants to seek solutions and new ways of being that are authentically inclusive of difference.
